What is Macchiato Coffee?

A macchiato is made up of one or two shots of espresso and a small amount of milk, usually foamed. I'm done now! You can also request a plain or espresso macchiato if you want a proper macchiato since it's frequently referred to as an espresso macchiato.

A macchiato can even be made at home, which is better!

Equipment:

• Espresso Machine  OR  (Make Espresso without Machine)

• Milk Steamer

• Cup / Mug

Ingredients:

• Two shots of Espresso

• Steamed milk, 1 ounce

Process:

• Use an espresso maker to make two shots of espresso or use easy ways to make espresso.

• Using the portable milk wand or espresso machine frother, steam milk into a cup or pitcher. As a general guideline, the milk is ready when you can touch the pitcher or cup for more than two seconds without becoming burned.

• Add foamed milk to the espresso and drink it up.

What about Caramel Macchiato?

You can utilize the above method and simply drizzle some caramel syrup on top to create a tasty caramel macchiato similar to the one you fell in love with at your nearby café. For a treat more similar to dessert, you can also add some vanilla syrup.
